All Eyes On You Socks

Description All Eyes On You Socks are cuff-down socks with beautiful and unique texture. The texture is created by simple faux cables with eyelets, which does not involve juggling around needles or twisting sts. (Hence , it is easy to do and friendly to hands and fingers!) The eyelets make the simple cables a little more fun and whimsy. You have a choice of following either written instructions or charts for the texture. The pattern also offers both versions you can see in the photos. Version 1 (the light purple) has less texture with simple picot edge cuffs while version 2 (the beige with ruffles) has more eyelets texture with ruffles. You can, of course, add ruffles to version 1 if you like it! The instructions are written for the magic loop method but could be adopted to DPNs. The heels are made with reinforced heel flaps, heel turns, and gussets. Suggested Yarn 100g of any fingering sock yarn (wool and nylon blends are recommended for durability) and 5g of lace weight fluffy yarn (If you wish to add ruffles). *If you are using mohair and silk blend, it is recommended to hold it double as they tend to be thinner than other fluffy lace weight yarn like alpaca silk blend. Suggested Needles 2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles with a 80 / 100 cm cable for the magic loop method You can go up / down needle sizes for larger / smaller sizes than the size range of this pattern. Gauge 36 sts / 50 rows (10 cm / 10 cm or 4 in / 4 in )in the textured pattern on 2.25 mm (US 1) needles after blocking. 32 sts/ 48 rows (10 cm / 10 cm or 4 in / 4 in )in stockinette on 2.25 mm (US 1) needles after blocking.
