Astrid's Polaris blanket

It is hard to stay away from geometry, and what started as a simple rosetta became what I saw as the North Star, or Polaris, a supergiant star in the northern circumpolar constellation of Ursa Minor. Or if you prefer it, yet another rosetta… This blanket is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes. I chose Scheepjes Stone Washed for this project. The pattern includes a list of all the colours used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, I added a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
