**Special offer. Through the 1st of September this pattern is available at 3.95 Euros only. Later the price will be 5.95 Euros.** Please note that VAT is added on purchases from the EU-countries, as well as from Australia. Thank you. There is something very satisfying about using scrap yarn from my stash! In the case of the Bellezza sweater I used all the contrasting colours from my stash and it was amazing to see how well the odd colours worked together. The pattern is tested and it was likewise amazing to see their beautiful yokes. All of them gorgeous and individual. **Construction** The sweater is worked top-down and seamlessly. The back neck is created by short-rows to be higher than the front neck, which gives a great fit. **Please note:** the white "dots" in the yoke of the sample are created by pop-corn sts (explained in the pattern). **Materials** As the sample is worked from my stash and I used 2 strands of yarn held together throughout, the list of materials is long. You may, however, use 1 strand of a DK weight yarn (or yarn that knits up to gauge). In that case you will need half the yardage compared with the yardage counted for two strands. **Sizes 1, 2 and 3** follow the first amount of yarn. **Sizes 4 and 5** follow the second amount of yarn. **Sizes 6, 7 and 8** follow the third amount of yarn. **Yarn for the yoke**: MC:1 strand of Soft Wool from Wallö (lace-weight) in Gray (250/280/310 m = 275/305/340 yards needed). 1 strand of Garna Cava (lace-weight) in Dueblå (250/280/310 m =). 275/305/340 yards needed). Contrasting colours:White: 1 strand of Filcolana Tilia , 1 strand of Filcolana Saga (lace-weights) 25 m = 37 yards needed Green: 2 strands of Gepard, Kid seta tweed (lace-weight) 15 m = 17 yards needed Brown: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive soft silk mohair (lace-weight) 10 m = 11 yards needed Pink: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive soft silk mohair (lace-weight) 20 m = 22 yards needs Blue: 1 strand Madeline Tosh Merino light (fingering weight), 1 strand Isager soft Kid Mohair (lace-weight), 15 m = 17 yards needed IDEALLY you may work the entire yoke using the same yarn. HOWEVER, it’s really satisfying to use up some scrap-yarns. If you can meet 22 sts, I encourage digging into your scraps. Instead of 2 strands of fingering weight yarn, you may use one strand of a DK weight yarn. **Yarn for the main body** The sample uses 2 strands of yarn, held together. Yarn 1: Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive, in the shade Kirsebärblomst/Cherry Blossom. This lace-weight yarn comes in balls of 25 gr/0.88 oz and 225 m/246 yards. You will need approximately 4/4/5/5/6/6/7/7 balls of yarn 1. Yarn 2: Alpaca 2 from Isager Yarn, in the shade 61. This fingering-weight yarn comes in skeins of 50 gr/1.76 oz and 250 m/273 yards. You will need approximately 4/4/5/5/6/6/7/7 skeins of yarn 2. As for the yoke, you may use one strand of a DK weight yarn instead. **Needles**: circular needles (or DPNS), size 3.5 mm/US4 for the rib-patterned sections. Circular needles, size 4 mm/US6 for the yoke and main body. Circular needles, (or DPNS), size 4 mm/US6 for the sleeves. **Notions**: removable stitch-markers, 2 separate holders, blocking tools suitable for your yarn(s). **Gauge:** 22 sts and 30 - 32 rounds in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4". **Sizes** There are 8 sizes to choose from: finished chest circumference, sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8: 92/98/102/109/115/122/127/133 cm = 36/38/40/43/45/48/50/52.5”. The sample is worked in size 1, with approximately 12.5 cm/5" of positive ease. **The pattern** - the pattern is tested - there is a schematic - all measurements are given in cm's, as well as in inches - there is a coloured chart for the yoke, as well a coloured chart for an option of working pattern on the sleeves. - an option for making a deeper neckline on the front **Techniques involved** - cast-on, bind-off - working stranded knitting in the round, following a chart - short-rows to create the neckline (explained) - decreases - working the pop-corn st (explained) **Skill level** Intermediate The pattern has been tested. A huge thank you to my wonderful testers: foranpdx / knitwitch47 / SKYSNOTHELIMIT / SunnyAmber / SuseBremen
