Le pull Soleil

Le pull soleil est adapté d'un patron vintage (voir photos). Vous pouvez télécharger mes notes pour le reproduire. / The sun sweater is adapted from a vintage pattern (see pictures). You can download my notes to replicate it. ------------------ I often modify vintage cable patterns, originally designed to be knitted flat, to knit them in the round. It depends on everyone’s preference, but I prefer to modify them for: - elasticity (fewer seams, more comfort); - strength (fewer seams, and therefore fewer seams that can break); - the practical aspect of being able to try them on as you go to check that everything is going well. Vintage patterns don’t use charts for cables, which can be a bit tricky! So here is my version, with charts inspired by the original pattern :) Please note that only the cable motif has been kept from the original pattern; the rest of the instructions follow my preferred construction method for this type of sweater! For this sweater, I used 500 g of Biches & Bûches Gros Lambswool, for a finished circumference of 105 cm. The amount of yarn you will need will depend on the yarn you choose, your gauge, size, etc. /!\ The instructions have not been tested by anyone other than me. They are brief and are intended for intermediate to advanced knitters. This pattern requires a little bit of maths! Everything is calculated according to your measurements and your personal gauge. Je modifie souvent ce type de patron pour les tricoter en rond. Cela dépend de la préférence de chacun, mais je préfère l’adaptation pour : - l’élasticité (moins de couture, plus de confort) ; - la solidité (moins de coutures, moins de coutures qui cassent) ; - le côté pratique de pouvoir essayer au fur et à mesure pour vérifier que tout tombe bien. Les patrons vintage n’utilisent pas de diagrammes pour les torsades et ressemblent un peu à une soupe alphabet. Voici donc ma recette avec diagrammes, inspirée de ce patron :) À noter que seul le motif de torsades est conservé du patron original et que le reste des instructions suit ma construction préférée pour ce type de pulls ! Pour ce pull j'ai utilisé 500 g du Gros Lambswool de Biches and Bûches, pour une circonférence de 105 cm. La quantité dépendra de la laine choisie, de votre tension, taille etc. /!\ Les instructions n'ont pas été testées par quelqu'un d'autre que moi. Elles sont sommaires et s'adressent aux tricoteurs/tricoteuses avec un niveau intermédiaire/avancé. Le patron nécessite de faire un peu de mathématiques !
