Ember Camisole is a fitted camisole worked seamlessly from the top down in the round. The cups are shaped with German short rows - the pattern includes two bust-shaping options. The body is shaped with decreases and increases at the waist. Double-knit straps worked separately and sewn on at the end, allowing the strap length to be adjusted individually. **Sizes & Fit** Choose your size based on your *upper-bust measurement*, not your full bust. Additional room for the bust is created separately with short-row shaping. For substitutions, choose a yarn that feels soft against the skin and creates a flexible, drapey fabric at the required gauge. Wool, alpaca, cashmere blends, and suitable plant-based yarns can all work well. Avoid yarns that produce a fabric that is too firm or stiff.
