Sandoy Mittens

The Sandoy Mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up in a cabled pattern with a ribbed cuff. Increases are made for the thumb, after which the work is divided, and the hand is worked with decreases at the top. Finally, the thumb is worked. LEVEL Intermediate SIZE S/M (L/XL) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Circumference, hand: 17 (19) cm Length, hand: approx. 18 (20) cm MATERIALS Tweed from Kit Couture (50 g = 85 m) 100 g (both sizes) RECOMMENDED NEEDLES Double pointed needles: 4 mm Cable needle for cables. Stitch holder or a small piece of waste yarn for the thumb stitches. TENSION 20 sts and 28 rows in cable pattern on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measured after washing).
