This sweater was inspired by a wide blue and white striped towel that I had as a child during the late 80s and early 90s. My father would always grab it and throw it in the back of our very small boat before we headed out on the lake to various sandbars. Over time, the blue got very bleached from the sun and it had a soft texture from wear- and smelled like lake and sand and sunblock. It was also the best to be wrapped up in as the cooler night air set in after a long day of fun. The Summer Stripes sweater embodies this, and I hope you love it!
