Witch Hat and Mushroom Stem

This is a whimsical pattern for a witch hat with a wide ruffled brim, resting on a black mushroom-like base. Materials: Yarn: 4-ply milk cotton yarn (DK weight). Black and Red. Hook: 2.5 mm - 3.0 mm crochet hook. Stuffing: Fiberfill for the black mushroom base. Craft wire (thin, bendable) and a small jingle bell for the curly tip. Tapestry needle for sewing. (Optional) Small shiny beads or sequins to decorate the hat (as shown in the pictures).
