It’s a basic raglan that will always be in style and keep you cozy. **How it’s knit**: The cardigan is knit top down in one piece, with neck shaping at the beginning. The yoke and body are knit flat and the sleeves are knit in the round. The neck band and button bands are picked up and knit at the end. The pattern includes detailed instructions for spacing the buttonholes, no matter what length you decide to make your cardigan. There is also a video that shows how to make the buttonholes. You’ll need 6 - 8 buttons (depending on size and length) that are about 3/4” or 18-20 mm in diameter. **Fit**: The cardigan is intended to fit with approximately 5-8” or 12-20 cm of ease around the chest, but you can choose whatever fit you prefer. The length from the underarm is 12-14” (31-35 cm) depending on size, which is what the yarn requirements below are based on.
