Fuck Blanket

This is a pattern includes 11 different square patterns and instructions on how to join them. Each square is roughly 9” x 9”. This will vary depending on how tight or loose you crochet and also on the yarn you choose. Going up or down a hook size will also change the size of your work. My finished blanket is roughly 56” x 48”. My blanket is 4 squares across and 5 squares down for a total of 20 squares. I’m writing this pattern as if you are making the same as mine. But of course, if you want a bigger blanket, you can make more squares (you’ll have duplicates of some of the “Fuck” squares) and if you want a smaller blanket just make less squares. Have fun playing around with the layout and yarn colors. You might even choose to change the color of the “bobble” stitches to make your words stand out more, but be aware that is a more advanced skill and you will have a lot more yarn ends to weave in at the end. There are lots of tutorials online explaining how to change colors and also how to “carry” your yarn so you won’t have to cut and weave in as many ends. This will be tricky for beginners, but the skill is well-worth the time it will take to master.
