Wild Island Wrap

Greetings. I created this pattern because I wanted something that I could wear over my shoulders that would be lightweight, warm, stay on my shoulders, AND be quick and easy to make. The pattern is currently three sizes, adult small, medium and large. The small size is great for over the shoulders warmth, the medium is a nice mid length, and the large is similar in size to my ponchos, but easier to put on. With this pattern, I also wanted a piece where I could experiment with lots if different yarns, colours, textures, and combinations, because I love the idea of wearable art. So far I've tested this on a few types if yarns, and I will definitely be trying a bunch more. I'll add each to the projects section, so you can see how they turned out. This pattern is probably intermediate level knitting, but a newbie could do this.
