The Storybook Tote is knit flat in the linen stitch, creating a firm, tightly structured fabric with natural stretch resistance. Two panels are seamed together and finished with metal keyring hardware and leather purse straps — a detail that adds both durability and quiet elegance. Notes: Not reversible. Knit top down. The CO edge is the top. Knit using the linen stitch. Knit 2 sides and then seam them together. When I made a mistake I had to tink, or unknit, back to the mistake. This isn't a very forgiving pattern.
