Jess Bag

A simple, but unique, knit bag designed to let your hand-spun shine. The Jess Bag is named for my friend Jess, who hand-spun and gifted me the beautiful yarn that inspired this design. I wasn’t finding a pattern that really felt worthy, I wanted something to really highlight the yarn and not take away from it’s beauty, so I wrote one! Designed specifically with hand-spun yarn in mind, this bag is worked in worsted weight and gives your one-of-a-kind yarn plenty of room to show off its unique colors, texture, and character. The simple construction lets the yarn take center stage, while subtle details add interest without competing with your hand-spun. Knit it in a single color, combine several hand-spun skeins, or let your yarn dictate the stripes and color changes as you go. Because every skein of hand-spun is different, no two Jess Bags will ever be exactly alike.
