French Market Bag

The French Market Bag is worked from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and it is worked as a growing circle in the round on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are worked in the round in the knotted openwork pattern on a circular needle. The top of the bag is finished with an i-cord edge. The lining is sewn with the same construction as the bag and then sewn onto the finished bag.
