Antique Clown Hand

This pattern shows how to make a crochet Antique Style Clown Hand. The pattern consists of making a LEFT hand with partial arm, a sleeve, ruffled cuff, and a balloon. There are also instructions on how to make the frame backing (if it's needed). The arm has wire through it making the fingers poseable. As well as, it is used as an anchor to the frame. Fist is 3" wide and 7" deep, sleeve is 5" long, balloon is 14" tall by 4" wide, inner frame is 9.25 x 7.25". Skill Level: Experienced Beginner - Advanced Mostly basic stitches are used (including hdc and dc). As long as you can work in the round and in rows, attach fingers, and work around them as one piece, you should be fine with the rest. A drill and pliers are used, but there are ways around that if you are using a picture frame instead of a wood plaque. This is not an item recommended for children due to the nature of the piece.
