I recently spent a day at the beach in eastern North Carolina. The sun was warm, the skies were bright blue, and a gentle breeze kept everything comfortable. By evening, the wind had picked up just enough that my shoulders needed a little extra warmth as I headed out to dinner. Inspired by those blue skies and the easy, relaxing day, I designed this beginner‑friendly pattern—a simple, stylish wrap that adds just the right touch of light, elegant comfort after a long day at the beach or anytime you want something soft around your shoulders. Two versions are given: original and a second version with an easy slip stitch for a slightly enhanced style.
