The actual pattern includes two identical sideways panels, a decorative sleeve edging and separate assembly instructions for the tee and cardigan versions. Construction The garment is made from two identical rectangular panels worked sideways. Each panel is folded at the shoulder, and the decorative sleeve edging is worked directly along the outer edge before sewing. The side seams are then joined, followed by the centre seams. No neckline or armhole shaping is required. Both openings are created during assembly by leaving the appropriate sections unsewn. Once the Petal Lace repeat is established, the project becomes rhythmic and enjoyable to crochet, although the finished fabric looks wonderfully detailed.
