Valid until Sunday, August 2nd, midnight cet.*** **About** The Posie Pointelle Skirt is a soft, romantic midi skirt with delicate pointelle textures inspired by vintage lace and pointelle fabrics. Designed with a flattering fit and a subtle leg slit, it brings together comfort and elegance in a timeless silhouette. The Posie Pointelle Skirt is worked top-down and started by casting on stitches for the waistband. The waistband is folded in half and elastic is encased for a comfortable fit. Then, the pointelle lace motif is started whilst also shaping the hips. There are two hip sizes to choose for each waist size. Once the hip shaping is finished, the skirt is worked in the round until just above knee length. At this point, a slit is worked, providing a fun visual detail, and increased range of motion. The hem of the skirt is finished with a crochet scalloped border. Then, each side of the leg slit is finished with a double knit button band.
