This allows you to use any yarn or hook size without needing to meet gauge. You will have to download the stitch counter linked in the pattern and make a small swatch with your yarn and hook. The number of stitches will be counted for you based on your swatch and preferred sweater measurement. The sample (120cm/47in) used: - Main Color (blue) = 470 grams / approx. 1200 meters - Complimentary Color 1 (brown) = 150 grams / approx. 400 meters (acrylic cotton) - Complimentary Color 2 (white) = 100 grams / approx. 200 meters (pure cotton) 2.
