**DESCRIPTION**
The **Sea Glass Tank i**s another design in my **Scrappy Collection**. The patterns in this Collection have been specifically designed to use up all those part balls that are in your stash.
This pattern has a very **unique construction** method that makes it fun to make. it uses two **3/4 grannies** joined together along the center front and center back to make the tank. The unworked 4th side of the granny becomes the armhole. A granny strip is added to the center front for a decorative detail and the back closure has the option of being joined with a granny stitch or being laced-up corset style. The tank can be made **cropped or extra rows** can be added to the bottom to achieve your preferred length as was done for my version of this pattern.
**DIFFICULTY LEVEL:** Intermediate
**SIZE INCLUSIVE**
XS - 5XL.
**MATERIALS**
Yarn: #4 medium weight,
Carron Cotton Cakes - 520 yd/ 8.8 oz - 485 m/250 g (60 % cotton / 40% acrylic)
Although this yarn is listed as #4 in my opinion it is slightly lighter (13 wpi).
Remnants of 2 colours, Beach View and Beachglass were used.
The cake was deconstructed and the colours were placed as per my preference and based on the quantities. Smaller amounts were used at the beginning for the shorter rounds and larger amounts for saved for the end for the larger rounds.
Quantity: Amount varies depending upon size.
Approx 500 yd for XS up to 1,000 yd for the 5XL
