This project began while organizing leftover yarn. Two half‑skeins of Bernat Velvet Plus seemed perfect for a dust cloth — until the washing instructions revealed it needed hand‑washing. Instead of abandoning it, the plush fabric felt too good to stop knitting. After binding off, the finished piece turned out to be a wonderfully soft sensory tool: foldable, squeezable, and soothing to touch.
