I wrote this up because the head lactation consultant where I went for breastfeeding support while nursing my son asked for knitted breasts for teaching aids. This is a modified version of "Knitted Breast" by Carolyn Westcott. My version is knit in the round, modular and uses thicker yarn and therefore a different number of stitches. You can also forgo the base and make it into a baby hat.
