Vega dialogues wrap

Exploring the global decline of seabirds through the remarkable story of Vega World Heritage. A unique symbiosis between people and eiders. The colour proportions of the wrap are based on the duration of the audio recordings used in the design. Of the total composition, 60% corresponds to eider duck sounds and 40% corresponds to human voices. This wrap is worked, in almost all rows, with two strands of yarn held together, as specified in the instructions. This technique creates a gradual interplay of colour and texture that is layered over a surface structure of pleating.
