This pattern is part of **Shine! Knitting with Beads**, a collection of 18 designs inspired by knitting with beads. Each project explores different techniques, textures, and constructions, inviting you to enjoy the creative process while knitting unique garments with a subtle touch of sparkle. **Available in English and Spanish**. **ABOUT THE PATTERN** Intarsia Breeze is a cardigan inspired by joy and by the energy that emerges when colours vibrate, and everything feels brighter. The design brings together two techniques I have worked with extensively over the past years, intarsia and an I-cord braid, adding character and a sense of play to the piece. **Sizes** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) Recommended ease: 1–4" / 2.5–¬10 cm of positive ease. Suggested yarn: Madejasur Kid Mohair – 64% kid mohair, 36% silk (459 yds / 420 m – 50 g). 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins, colour: Flash. **Needles and cables:** N1: US 6 / 4.0 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm long. N2: US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm long. **Notions:** Crochet hook for provisional cast on [US 6 – 4.0 mm], row counter (recommended), stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn or 1 stitch holder, scrap yarn, bobbins for intarsia. **Gauge** 18 sts x 24 rows = 4" / 10 cm. Measured over Stockinette stitch after blocking, with N1 and C1. **Notes** The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins with the back using a provisional CO. Once the back is complete, it is placed on hold while the fronts are worked separately from the same provisional CO. When both fronts are finished, they are joined with the back. Continue by working the body flat. This pattern uses the intarsia method and a braided technique.
