YARN Pink Cardigan DK / BC Garn Allino; 50% Linen, 50% Cotton; 1.76 oz / 50 g. Yardage: 136 yds / 125 m. GAUGE: 22sts / 30 rows = 4" (10 cm) Estimated quantity depending on the length approximately; 350 (370) 400 (430) 450 (470) g. PATTERN Lacy Bits Cardigan is a twin pattern of the Lacy Bits Tee. This pattern offers you lots of creativity along the way as you decide whether to use the challenging short row technique and to apply the crochet edging or not. If you are a beginner, you should keep it simple, just knit the cardigan in a square style but still with the beautiful lace pattern. First the back yoke is worked flat with the optional Bobbi Pin short row technique to shape the shoulders. Then, each shoulder is worked separately, also with short rows. The front and back pieces are joined at the underarms to form the body. The sleeves are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armhole openings with Bobbi Pin short rows again. The cardigan is finished with crochet border along the bottom of the body, the bands, the neck and the sleeves.
