It is strongly suggested that you make a gauge swatch and check your gauge often as you work, as the pattern used up all yardage in this kit. If you are concerned about running out of yarn, consider going down a hook size.** * Belofte is crocheted in wedges of color, creating a semi-circular shape. Each row begins with slip stitches, then single crochet, then half double crochet, and so on to the end of the row, increasing the size of the stitches at even intervals. * All odd rows are worked in single crochet. * The slow gradient is created by starting with two strands of Color A, then one strand each of Color A and Color B, then two strands of Color B, and so on. * Pattern includes instructions on when to change colors to create a gradient. * Prepare yarn by winding each color into a center-pull ball. When pattern calls for two strands of same color, use one strand from center and one strand from outside the same ball. * Do not cut both strands when changing colors.
