Mathilde Selbu Mittens

The Mathilde Selbu Mittens have a cute ruffle along the cuff, and a floral pattern on the hand and the thumb. The pattern is both written and charted, and it is designed in accordance with the Norwegian Selbu mitten tradition. Several techniques are explained with photos, including a stitch-by-stitch for the start of the thumb. Stitches used: k, p, m1l, m1r, k2tog, SSK, SK2P **Gauge:** 36 sts & 36 r per 10 cm/4in ****NOTE** that gauge is higher than suggested for this yarn!** **Materials:** * Yarn: Wool yarn with ~175 m per 50 gr in two colours. Used in example is Rauma Finull.
