ABOUT THE PATTERN R-E-S-P-E-C-T celebrates our similarities and our differences, as well as everyone’s right to love who they love and to be themselves. The scarf is an ideal summer knit to be worn at the local Pride celebrations or just as a statement piece to show allyship - it’s quick, it sparks joy, and it’s not too warm to wear even in summer. The scarf is framed by an i-cord and the rainbow motif is shaped using short-row colorwork with one color at a time. SIZE 8 cm wide x 100 cm long. YARN Fingering merino yarn, 400 m/100g. Color A: White, <50g/200m. Color B: Rainbow in order; red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, violet, <10g/40m each. Rainbow yarn in sample scarf is from Neighborhood Fiber Co. and white is from Vickevira. GAUGE 24 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch. Gauge is not crucial in this pattern.
