The Tabby Toe is a modification of the Pontoon Toe by the amazing Cat Bordhi, detailed in [New Pathways for Sock Knitters, Book One][1]. The basic shape of the Tabby Toe is the same, but with a different knitting technique (plus several tips and photos). After iterating through several changes to better suit myself, I want to share the Tabby Toe with other toe up sock fans.
**Pattern specs**
* Toe up pattern (you will create a toe box)

**FAQ**
Why should I knit a Tabby Toe? Because it makes an excellent toe box! No nubby ears transitioning from the cast on to the increase stitches.
I do two at a time socks, can I cast on two toes at the same time? Cast on the toe boxes on separately, then join socks for increases.
This is my first sock toe cast on? Try a traditional wedge toe first ([VeryPink Knits video][2]). Then come back for a future sock.
Wait, what is a wedge toe? A toe where you provisionally cast on stitches and start knitting in the round immediately with increases at each side of the toe.
