You then pick up for first the left shoulder and then the right shoulder before connecting them together to form the front panel. The front and back pieces are connected and knit in the round, maintaining the slipped-stitch pattern throughout. After the body is finished with a ribbed hem, the sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, and finished with the same size hem.
