Frontispiece Scarflet

The Frontispiece Scarflet is a scrappy little project designed to use up leftovers from a pair of socks or other fingering-weight project. It features the same stitch pattern used on my Frontispiece Socks. **Sizes** One size, adjustable. Finished scarflet dimensions: 38” (96.5 cm) long by 3” (7.5 cm) wide **Materials** Fingering weight yarn, 125 yds (114 m) Sample shown knit in Malabrigo Ultimate Sock, 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, 420 yds (385 m) per 3.5 oz (100 g) **Gauge** 4” (10 cm) square = 36 stitches x 40 rows in stitch pattern for Chart C **Needles** One set of needles in a size to match gauge listed above Suggested needle size: US 2 (2.75 mm) **Tools** Optional stitch markers or progress keepers to mark garter stitch border and track increases/decreases. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends. **Skill Level** Intermediate. Techniques include decreases.
