The hat is worked in the round. This knit would be suitable for the advanced beginner knitter as the pattern is written out in full. A perfect match for Norwegian Fir Cardigan - P109 (sold separately). This hat is also featured in the set (sold separately). KNITTING PATTERN-Norwegian Fir (Set) - P186 HAT SIZES [A] -- Baby [B] -- Toddler YARN REQUIREMENTS 8ply Double Knit [A] -- 35 grams [B] -- 48 grams Note: the pictured garments were knitted in Bellissimo 8ply - Colours (Beige 202), (Cream 201) and (Dark Navy 206) However any 8ply DK yarn would work well, especially if the yarn has a tight twist, and you are able to achieve the same gauge/tension as per the pattern. NEEDLES REQUIRED 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circulars OTHER MATERIALS stitch markers TENSION/GAUGE 22 sts - 40 rows = 10 cm (4 in) using 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles worked in garter stitch. When purchasing any of my patterns it is assumed that you are either and Intermediate / Advanced knitter and can follow and read a knitting pattern.
