This is the listing for the Podsol Pullover PDF crochet pattern! When purchasing this pattern you will get access to a PDF with written instructions on how to make this pullover yourself, as well as a lookbook containing pictures and some useful information from the lovely people that tested this pattern! It’s an elegant, finely stitched sweater with a rolled neckline and a comfortable amount of positive ease. It is crocheted vertically and consists of four separate panels that we attach at the seams. The pattern is graded for 9 sizes with the possibility for some adjustments to make the sweater fit your body in the best way possible. This is an intermediate to advanced level pattern and there are a few reasons as to why, one being the thin yarn and small stitches which lead to a lengthier project time. That also makes it extra important that you choose the correct size for you and have the correct gauge before you start. Another reason is the ability for fit modifications, bust size in particular, that require you to really keep track of your stitches and measurements. The stitches themselves are not super complicated, and I’ve included detailed descriptions for those. I don’t mean to scare you off making this sweater, in fact I think all of these aspects mentioned are what makes this sweater so beautiful and intricate looking! So in my opinion it is a very worthwhile project :) Below you'll find some technical information about this pattern: **SIZING** - This is a graded pattern with 9 sizes based on measurements from the Women Size Chart by the Craft Yarn Council. - See measurements of the pullover in the last photo of the listing. - The pullover is meant to have 10 cm (4 inches) of positive ease compared to your upper chest, with additional bust shaping adding 4 or 8 cm. - The length can easily be adjusted by doing more/less starting chains. **MATERIALS USED** - Crochet hook 3.5 mm (or hook needed to obtain gauge) - Fingering weight (weight 1) wool or wool blend yarn - I used Merilin in 9s (brown sweater) and Alpaca 2 in E0 (white sweater), both by Isager - For sizes (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) you'll need approximately (1540,1650,1820,1955,2150,2300,2550,2775,2925)m of yarn. - Blocking mat/towel + pins - Yarn needle/Darning needle - Measuring tape - Stitch markers - Scissors **TECHNIQUES USED (US TERMINOLOGY)** - Chain(s) – ch(s) - Slip stitch(es) – slst(s) - Yarn over slip stitch(es) – yoslst(s) - Linked half treble crochet(s) – lhtc(s) - End of row – eor - Back loop only – blo - Front loop only – flo - Short rows **GAUGE** - 22 stitches x 16 rows = 10 x 9 cm (3.9 x 3.5 inches) - The gauge swatch is made using a 4 row repeat of one row linked half treble crochet in blo and three rows yoslsts in flo/blo. **DIFFICULTY** - 4/5 - A video tutorial of the stitch combo is included, as well as a google spreadsheet to help you keep track of your stitch counts.
