What Lies Beneath

We’ve explored more of space than we have the deep blue sea, do we ever truly know what lies beneath? Framed in beautiful gold and silver this shimmering scene gives us a glimpse of what there could be. Dragons, crochet and excel spreadsheets are some of my favourite things so I love to bring them together to design blanket patterns and then crochet them. Sometimes pictures other than dragons appear too. I hope you enjoy making this blanket as much as I did and I would love to see your versions. The main colour is an ombre cotton/acrylic yarn, colour number 67 purchased from Agnes World Ombre Yarn www.ombreyarn.com Total weight of lap blanket 1280g/4150 metres Ombre colour number 67 in 4ply yarn = 485g/1800 metres Gold yarn = 230g/679 metres Silver yarn = 566g/1670m Size 123cmx160cm Hook size 3.5 (you can use a bigger hook size and your blanket will be slightly larger)
