Summer Shawl 2026

**Note:** Row 1 should be **k1, kfb, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1** The Summer Shawl 2026 was borne out of necessity, as I'd designed a similar shawl using HiKoo Popcycle yarn (now discontinued.) Alternating two shades of Bamboo Pop, one solid and one variegated, gives a bright, summery, cheerful look (and the yarn is already wound into balls - hallelujah!) The shawl pattern is perfect for beginners who know how to cast on, knit, and bind off. We introduce the following skills: kfb (knit front and back - increase) k2tog (knit two together - decrease) Knitting stripes using 2 balls of yarn at once The finished shawl has a 56"/140 cm wingspan and a depth of 15"/38 cm.
