**Introductory Offer: 15% off regular price until May 8th (CT).** This design welcomes the arrival of spring in my neighbour "hood", when Λ-shaped flocks of geese head north and budding trees awaken from their cold winter nap. Two simple lace motifs pick up the themes of trees and birds in flight; seed stitch stripes provide texture (and seeds attract the birds)! The *Welcome to my Hood Scarf* is a luxuriously soft scarf that will easily accessorize any outfit, at the same time providing warmth when the winds pick up. It may be worn in different ways, from loosely draped around the neck to neatly tied, or even standing in as a hasty head covering. The scarf is knitted back and forth in two sections, each from tip to centre, enabling the tree motif to stand upright when the scarf is worn. The neck edge is worked straight while the outer edge is gently curved with increases at regular intervals. Each section may be worked in the same or two related colours, or with an optional 2-tone gradient pattern. An i-cord edging is added as a final touch. **Materials/Quantity** Fingering-weight yarn is held together with a strand of lace-weight mohair. Hand-dyed solid or variegated tones work well for this design.
