Available May 1st, 2026 Fleurescent is a celebration of quiet beauty—the moment when buds begin to open and color spills gently into the world. The body of the shawl, with its soft pink stitches reminiscent of seeds or tiny blossoms, flows gracefully into a border of purple petals that unfurl along the crescent’s edge. Like a flower awakening at dawn, it captures that tender transition between stillness and bloom. Knitters will love watching the story unfold row by row—lace stitches growing into something delicate and radiant. It’s the kind of project that feels like poetry in yarn: meditative, romantic, and utterly satisfying to wear when you’re ready to wrap yourself in a little piece of spring. This is a top down lace shaw and uses a garter tab cast on. For the body of the shawl, lace is worked on both the right and wrong side. For the border, the lace is worked only on the RS and the WS is P across. This shawl can be made larger by adding more repeats of the body chart, border chart or both. This will require additional yarn. Materials • 450 yd (411.5 m) of Serendipitous Wool, Devi BY/S- 50% baby yak, 50% silk, or any similar fingering weight yarn*.
