The Rudy Blanket Wrap

I created this wrap in honor of my sweet soul dog Rudy and to help me keep his memories and our love alive <3 <3 Garter stitch provides makers with soothing comfort while the intarsia colorwork allows you to match your pet's fur and markings or the hair, eye color, favorite colors of a human loved one. You can also celebrate self love and mental health by creating this wrap in your own favorite colors. With each stitch, I hope you are able to focus on the good memories and joy you shared with your love one. That loving energy will seep into your fabric and you will be able to wrap yourself up in a hug of your shared love. **Construction** The Rudy Blanket Wrap is a rectangular, bulky weight, garter stitch wrap made using intarsia colorwork. Links to video tutorials are provided for those new to intarsia. Both written instructions and charts are provided. **Difficulty Level** Adventurous Beginner **Finished Measurments** If using my gauge and suggested yarn, the wrap will measure approximately 28" wide and 72" long. **Suggested Yarn:** *Worsted weight yarn held double or *Bulky weight yarn *I used Hobbii Amigo XL (worsted weight) held double to make my sample **Yardages:** The sample was knit using worsted weight yarn held double and the provided yardages below are also for worsted weight held double. A single strand of bulky-weight yarn may be substituted, adjusting needle size to obtain gauge. Yardage requirements will vary.
