Volare is an open sweater with a cape-like silhouette and dramatic batwing sleeves reminiscent of the 1980’s. Hence the name Volare, which means ‘to fly’ in Latin. The sweater is designed with minimalist and elegant details such as a rolled neck and stockinette stitch as well as a faux seam down the back created by purl stitches. The combination of the heavy ‘Kamgarn’ and silk mohair enhances the look for a drapey effect **CONSTRUCTION** The collar is worked in the round, after which you separate and begin increases for the shoulders.
