Fiddlehead Farm on Gabriola Island is my kind of dream place. Measurements approx. after blocking: 81 in/206 cm wingspan x 27 in/69 cm at deepest point and the “sides” are 49 in/124 cm. (Metric measurements are rounded off to the nearest cm). Yarn: 1 x 1000 g Cone of Fiddlehead Farm Romney with some Cotswold/Shetland Cross yarn. (I used 400 g/738 m roughly calculated with conversion rates) It is now also available in 7 oz/ 198.5 g skeins: 400 yds/ 365m. I purchased mine at the 100 Mile Fleece and Fibre Event in Coombs on Vancouver Island. Raven’s Gabriola Dreamin’ Wrap commences with an I-cord tab cast-on. Then knit sideways from wingspan point to wingspan point, increasing at the end of every right-side row. At the halfway point, you begin decreasing at the end of every right-side row to finish off in a lovely triangle. Written Pattern Only. Skill Level: Advanced.
