My Perfect Fleece Vest is a bouclé vest that combines a timeless, modern silhouette with carefully considered details. Clean and classic rather than overwhelming, it offers multiple options so you can knit your perfect teddy fleece-inspired vest. Warm yet lightweight, it’s suitable for year-round wear and ideal for knitters who prefer natural fibers over polyester. This design offers three options: 1. With pockets and front plackets 2. Without pockets, with front plackets 3. A simple, open version without pockets and without the option to close the vest (no snap fasteners) It is worked top-down. First the backpiece is worked flat and shaped with increases. Then the stitches are picked up at the shoulders to work and form the front sides. At the underarms, fronts and back are joined, and the body is worked flat on a circular needle. If desired, the pocket openings are shaped and the pockets are worked.
