This shawl is knitted from the pointed end to the straight upper side. It begins with a provisional cast-on to create a continuous i-cord edge. The first part is worked in garter stitch stripes, using C1 and C2. The rest of the shawl is knitted in C3, with garter stitch on the left side and a lace pattern on the right side. SIZES One size FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Length at centre: 145 cm / 57". Length at longest edge: 185 cm / 72.75". Width at centre: 70 cm / 27.5". MATERIALS Yarn Sägen Light Fe (70% Baby Alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere), 400 m / 438 yds per 100 g. Sample shown in the colourways Blenda (C1), Underjord (C2) and Forest Gold (C3). Yardage 1 skein of C1 and C2 respectively, and 2 skeins of C3. Or approx. 140 m / 153 yds of C1 and C2 respectively and 540 m / 590 yds of C3. Needles 3.25 mm / US 3. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
