**DESCRIPTION**
**Necktie Recipe** is a knitting recipe for neckties in **any width or length for anyone**. You can use **almost any yarn, needle, or gauge**, although lighter-weight yarns work best to keep this small accessory sleek and wearable.
A sizing chart for **men’s and women’s ties** helps you choose proportions from classic to skinny. Simply pick your yarn and needles, knit a swatch, and fill in the numbers to **design your tie**. A Standard Fit option is also included, with pre-calculated numbers for knitting a classic tie.
**Personalise your tie** with optional embroidered diagonal stripes using the step-by-step photo tutorial, alternate colours for easy striping, or let hand-dyed yarn paint your seed stitch canvas. Whether knit as a gift or for yourself, this pattern offers **endless creative possibilities**, and just as **many ways to style it**.
**HOW THE RECIPE WORKS**
1. Necktie Recipe is worked from tip to tip in seed stitch pattern with slip-stitch edges.
2. Refer to the sizing chart to choose the width and length.
3. Choose from 2 options for knitting your tie:
**Option A (Custom Fit)**: Make your own tie in any gauge and size with guided calculations.
**Option B (Standard Fit)**: Follow pre-calculated numbers for a classic tie with no math required.
5 samples with different yarns are provided for reference.
