You can use **almost any yarn, needle, or gauge**, although lighter-weight yarns work best to keep this small accessory sleek and wearable. A sizing chart for **men’s and women’s ties** helps you choose proportions from classic to skinny. Simply pick your yarn and needles, knit a swatch, and fill in the numbers to **design your tie**. A Standard Fit option is also included, with pre-calculated numbers for knitting a classic tie. **Personalise your tie** with optional embroidered diagonal stripes using the step-by-step photo tutorial, alternate colours for easy striping, or let hand-dyed yarn paint your seed stitch canvas.
