Matilda Easter Bunny Toy

**Knit an Easter Bunny wearing a soft spotty dress and a spring cardigan.** Knitted from a ball of chunky yarn, with some double knitting yarn for the clothes, this bunny makes a cute Easter present! She is 46cm tall from feet to ear tips, so the perfect size for children to hug. This pattern is suitable for knitters who can cast on and off, work knit stitch, purl stitch and increase/decrease. The spotty dress pattern is a clear introduction to simple colourwork knitting with lots of photographs to help you step-by-step through the process of knitting the spots, and the bunny and clothes are all knitted flat so no working in the round is needed. Suggested yarns: Stylecraft Special Chunky in Camel (1420) for the brown bunny and a ball of Silver (1203) for grey bunny. A selection of Wendy Peter Pan Dk yarns for the clothes (you can of course use any yarns you have in your stash instead) Needles used: 4.5mm and long 4mm straight knitting needles.
