Stitch pattern: Moss (Rows 1,2: K1P1 Rows 3,4: P1K1) Gauge: 20 st x 24 rows in Moss stitch = 4 in x 4 in or 10 cm x 10cm Needles: 3.5mm (US4) circular needles. Smaller cord lengths are easier but you also can use magic loop or traveling loop method. Techniques used: Moss stitch, picking up stitches, basic cast-off method, hand sewing. Materials Needed: Yarn: 50g Dk/worsted weight wool and about 15g mohair held together. Approx 105 yds (110 meters). Recommend Drops Lima & Drops Kid Silk held together. Also, can use one strand of worsted/medium wool such as Cascade 220 on its own. Clutch Frame: Recommended 8” in length by 6” width (when open). Available on Etsy, LindeHobby, and most large retailers. Optional if adding satin-lining: Safety pins, satin (approximately 16” x 30”, approx. 40 x 76 cm), needle and thread to hand-sew.
