Vintage English College Scarf

We're going back to the 60's with this crochet pattern! This scarf is based on university scarves that are only offered in English institutions for what major you have. Most English college scarves are made on Saxony Wool that are about 6 feet long with an 9 inch width. They originated from World War 2 when there was a scarcity of fabric material, they were able to get strips of wool and sewn them together to create a gratifying scarf to wear. They were very popular during the 60's since they were a fashion statement at the time and mine is based on Ringo's scarf in The Beatles: Get Back, but they did have other vibrant colors that were favored more. This groovy scarf has dashes of red, grey, yellow, and A LOT of blue. This pattern is mostly sized for adults. (create it to any measurement you need) 16 hdc and 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in half-double crochet stitch. There is a color chart for the layout of the colors. This pattern is copyrighted by me and for only personal use. You may not make the garmet and resell it on a online store front. You can not copy or sell it and rebrand it as your own pattern.
