Snowcone Hat

Snowcone Hat is a beanie featuring a colorful brim knit with two contrasting yarns held together—one strand of lace-weight mohair or alpaca-blend yarn and one strand of fingering-weight yarn—to create a playful color-mixing effect. The main body and crown are worked with two strands of the same fingering-weight yarn held together. The hat is worked from the bottom up and in the round thoughtout. The finished brim is intended to be folded twice, forming a three-layer section for added warmth and enhanced protection for the ears and forehead against the winter cold.
