It provides lovely warmth and thanks to the ribbing, it feels comfortably relaxed to wear. The Snuggly Sweater is knitted using two strands of yarn together, top down with raglan increases. The neck is shaped with German Short Rows. The sleeves have a little balloon effect. The sweater is designed to have a 2 - 8 cm / 1 - 3” positive ease, please note that the measurements are taken when the fabric is not stretched. Due to the ribbing the sweater does stretch quite a bit vertically, so the actual positive ease is more than the 2 - 8 / 1 - 3” cm. For example, even though my sample’s body circumference is about 83 cm / 32.6”, if I stretch it, the circumference is almost 120 cm / 47.2”. Choose your size depending on the fit you want. Both with a 60 - 100 cm / 24 - 40” cable, adjust length for the size you’re making, and DPNs for the sleeves if you don’t use the Magic Loop -technique. Adjust the needle size to match the gauge. **Yarn:** The sweater is worked with one strand of DK -weight yarn held together with one strand of lace -weight yarn.
