Popcorn passion

This easy to master, Aran, popcorn granny square, is a simple mandala pattern and very versatile. You can turn it into a warm chunky blanket, bed runner or throw, a cushion cover, a tote bag or use as detail on a snuggly jumper or scarf. Stitches that you need to master to create this springtime lovely, are, slip stitch, double crochet and treble crochet, a standing double/treble, ‘Popcorn’ stitch and the V stitch. If you can work a treble crochet, you should be able to master all these stitches. Yarn I used So Crafty Aran, Raspberry Sorbet. 400g / 800m approximately 75% Acrylic 25% Wool I have used yarn from my stash to create this granny square. All yarns are ‘So Crafty’ Aran, in different colours. The Raspberry Sorbet is a good example of gram and meter. Any Aran yarn should work well with this design.
