The Curious Crochet Square

This is the first installment of the Great Granny Adventures CAL. Each square should measure 5" square. How it works: •Each month, a FREE granny square pattern. •Suggested goal: make 10 squares per month. •Crochet at your pace. •Save your squares for the final free projects revealed in November. Notes on the case... •This pattern is written using US terminology. •Please read through the pattern so you know what to expect before you start. •I used DK and some of my testers used Aran. Feel free to use whatever your heart desires. •Tension is different for everyone. Mine is loosy goosey. So that gives you wiggle room for gauge. •Matching my gauge is only important if you want to use your squares in the yet to be revealed final projects. •There are going to be between 3-5 patterns available from the beginning of November for you to use your squares with if you like or you can go rogue and do your own thing.
